Almost two weeks into the new year we bid you welcome with the longest and most massive release to date in deersound history: Hjorten's epic 2009: Year of the Deer. It's filled with field recordings, found sounds and lots of weirdness... Among a lot of other things. You won't regret downloading it. And it will also be released as a very limited CDR edition with bonus material in a near future.

Just like last year Hjorten has recorded a whole bunch of sounds and made a one-track EP of out of them. The result is available free of charge just to celebrate his 26th birthday. Enjoy!

Well, hello. Today, on this official day of bad luck, we release an EP by Johan Hjort. And as (bad) luck would have it, it's limited to 13 copies. Its title? Not What I Thought. It'll appear in the store in a couple of days, to order for now - send an e-mail.

It might seem like things aren't happening, but they are. It's just that we got no real news to announce yet. One, of many things, in motion is a three-way split with Hjorten, Manifesto and Mrcien. Another is a 4cdr release with Tarmskrap's sideproject IOK-1.

The website has gotten a long overdue re-design. We promise to keep updates more frequent, in the way that it's possible.
During the "downtime" two albums were released; the first real CD - 018: Experimental and Johan Hjort's first release using his own name: Not That Human.

It also appears that the website doesn't look properly in Internet Explorer 7, if you just have to use Internet Explorer at least upgrade to version 8. Or use Firefox or Chrome.
